Job summary

GalahGala Seafood Restaurant in Selangor is seeking a creative Marketing/Content Creator to drive our social presence. You will plan, shoot, and edit content for TikTok and Instagram, and support promotional campaigns.

You'll work with management to develop visuals, captions, and live sessions, while fitting branding guidelines. Fresh graduates are welcome, training provided and salary includes service charge.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Diploma/Degree in marketing, mass communication, multimedia, graphic design, or a related field (an advantage, not compulsory).
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Energetic, outgoing, confident with a natural ability to engage with people.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the brand on social media.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Basic to good knowledge of Canva and Adobe Illustrator (AI).
• Able to shoot and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
• Familiar with current TikTok/social media trends.
• Willing to host TikTok Live and participate in promotional activities.
• Presentable and comfortable interacting with customers and the public.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A portfolio of posters, videos, or previous content work is highly encouraged (to bring during interview).

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Develop creative ideas for short-form videos, promotional campaigns, and social media content.
• Appear as brand representative/talent during video shoots when required.
• Shoot, edit, and produce short-form videos for social media.
• Follow current social media trends to identify viral or high-engagement content opportunities.
• Develop creative concepts to promote menu items, promotions, and packaged products (e.g., sauces).
• Host TikTok Live and other social media live sessions.
• Introduce and promote restaurant/company products during live sessions.
• Engage with viewers, answer questions, and encourage purchases.
• Assist in developing ideas and scripts for live sessions.
• Design posters, promotional materials, social media artwork, and marketing collaterals.
• Use Canva and Adobe Illustrator (AI) to produce marketing materials.
• Ensure all visual content follows the company's branding guidelines.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Work closely with the restaurant and management team to identify content opportunities.
• Assist with photography and videography for new menu launches, promotions, and events.
• Monitor social media performance and suggest ideas to improve reach and engagement.
• Perform other marketing and content-related duties as assigned.
