Ogilvy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Content Creator passionate about social media, culture and storytelling. You will develop and produce engaging content across platforms, from ideation to delivery, collaborating with Social & Influence, Creative, Strategy and production teams.

The role emphasises timely, platform-native content creation, trend spotting, and hands-on shooting and editing using mobile devices.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in social content creation or related field.
• Strong portfolio of social-first content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Experience shooting, editing, and producing content for mobile and platform-native formats.
• Ability to script captions, hooks and copy for social content.

Responsibilities

• Social Content Creation across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms.
• Generate content ideas based on brand objectives, audience behavior and trends.
• Write scripts, captions, hooks, and other content copy.
• Shoot and produce content using mobile devices and appropriate production equipment.
• Edit short-form video into platform-appropriate formats.
• Adapt content for different platforms, audiences and formats.
• Develop content series and social-first franchises to build audience interest.
