Job summary

CLCE Construction Sdn Bhd on-site role is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee workers and sub-contractors, coordinating daily activities while upholding health, safety and regulatory standards. The position involves presenting inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks, and maintaining accurate site records.

You will support project managers in planning the work programme, manage welfare facilities, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate with, motivate and discipline the workforce.
Ability to understand drawings and contract documents.
A good understanding of safety procedures.
Ability to mediate to resolve issues.
Understanding of welfare and environmental issues.
Understanding of occupational health and behavioral safety issues.

Responsibilities

Supervise workers, sub contractors and work activities.
Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Assess and manage safety hazards.
Ensure appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
Help project managers to plan the work programme.
Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment.
Complete records for site reports.
Attend site management meetings.
Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
Raise safety concerns at the appropriate level.
