About the role
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects at our site. This full-time position requires strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful completion of each project.
What you'll be doing
- This position will be responsible for proper deployment of the company's resources such as machinery, equipment, materials, and manpower to ensure compliance with work standards by properly coordinating, planning, reporting of works, and supervising workers.
- Controlling work execution in accordance with time and quality requirements.
- Coordinate and manage daily construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and maintain construction quality standards, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Check work quality and arrange for necessary inspections by the client at all stages.
- Keep accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, materials usage, equipment maintenance, and incident reports.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
- Maintain & check the site operation including noting down the number of workers, the work carried out daily, DO record, take site photos & video, prepare progress report, check on timeline and handle tasks delegated by superior complying with orders.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English to communicate.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior team members.
