Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Site Supervisor with a civil engineering background to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction sites in Malaysia. Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, operate and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and sub-contractors.
• Manage site activities including safety and quality.
• Monitor all construction activities and take preventive action.
• Ensure resources are available and allocated.
• Create and maintain project documentation and daily logs.
• Report progress to Project Manager.

Job description

Planning, scheduling, operation, management and delivery of project on-time, within scope, within budget and with desire quality.

To coordinate and liaise effectively with clients, consultants, authorities and sub-contractors.

Responsible for managing site activities including safety & quality.

Monitoring all construction activities as well as identifying any potential problem and issues in the project and take preventive action.

Ensure resources availability and allocation.

Create and maintain project documentation.

Maintain daily logs, attendance records and progress update to Project Manager

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in project management / site installation and construction of road,drainage and sewerage in a contractor’s organization.
• Those without formal qualifications but have similar experience will also be considered.
• Possess effective skills and knowledge in reading plans, work program / scheduling, monitoring of site and construction activities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
