A leading construction company in Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor with a strong background in Data Centre Projects. The role involves supervising subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining detailed site records. Candidates should possess a diploma in Civil Structural and have 3-5 years of relevant experience, along with expertise in tools like MS Project and Auto CAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Centre Project.
• Must come from a Construction background, preferably with Main Contractors.
• Experience inspecting works at various construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, monitor, and control labor and subcontractors’ works.
• Ensure completion of facilities within planned schedule and quality standards.
• Record daily site activities and report construction progress.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Civil Structural or equivalent.

At least 3-5 years of relevant experience especially in Data Centre Project.

Good communication skills, positive working attitude, punctuality with high responsibility, and able to work independently.

Candidate must be from a Construction background and Main Contractors are preferred.

Applicant must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Job Descriptions

Supervise, coordinate, monitor and control direct labor and subcontractors’ works and ensure completion of respective facilities in his discipline within planned schedule and quality standard.

Familiarise himself with the project scheduling and monitoring, construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, inspection and test plan etc.

Undertake inspection of work at various stages as per specifications and construction drawings, ensure all relevant parties signing off Request for Inspection Form and relevant inspection checklists and submit to respective coordinator.

Maintain vigilance on site activities so, as to avoid misuse and damage of site materials by workers, especially subcontractor’s workers.

Maintain good housekeeping at area in-charged.

Record number of workers for his subcontractors on site each day and site activities in the daily report.

Report on the construction progress and factors adversely affecting the project to the Project/Site Engineer.

Ensure documentation (including records) of all activities are raised and completed prior to handover project.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
