About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Supervisor to join our thriving construction company, HHC Building Construction Sdn Bhd, based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and supervising the work of construction teams, including subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Monitoring and managing site safety, including implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and addressing any safety concerns

Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of any issues that may arise

Maintaining detailed records of project progress, including daily logs, material usage, and workforce productivity

Providing regular progress reports to the management team and clients

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving measures

Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

Experience in managing site budgets and resources effectively

Familiarity with construction project management software and tools

A valid construction site safety certification (CIDB, NIOSH, or equivalent)
