About the role

Design & Build International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Muar District, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on our construction site, ensuring the successful completion of projects to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
• Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities, identifying and resolving any issues or delays
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities to meet project deadlines
• Provide on-site training and guidance to construction workers to improve their skills and productivity
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the work meets the specified standards

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to find practical solutions to complex challenges
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
