Job description

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including monitoring progress, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.

• Lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of project requirements.

• Monitor and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing cost reports, and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise on-site, using strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to find mutually beneficial resolutions.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain quality and efficiency.

Administration

• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily progress reports, safety records, material and equipment logs, and any other required project documentation.

• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure timely availability and adherence to project schedules.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on site progress and performance, inventory, and productivity metrics.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations to enhance knowledge and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study, most preferably civil engineering.

• Min 3 years in similar capacity.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Maternity/Paternity leave
