Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the entire progress of the work aligns with the timeline, implementation, scheduling, and completion of the project.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties for all site-related matters and resolve issues encountered.
• Manage & be responsible for all project-related documentation including check disputes, issue letters, VOs, etc.
• Attend site meetings, highlight issues with subcontractors/clients, and ensure all works are carried out according to specifications, plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Develop project schedules and allocate resources to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
• Manage and lead to ensure the quality of site works.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on schedule.
• Study and understand construction drawings, materials, and machinery for daily site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and oversee work termination and workmanship.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying is preferable.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience, especially in flooring industrial construction projects.
• Good command of English & Malay language and business writing skills.
• Excellent paperwork and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and analyze problems, propose solutions, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Willing to travel to project sites, flexible with time, and able to work overtime.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Possess technical knowledge to solve site issues.
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Candidates who can start immediately will be prioritized.
