An established industry player is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee renovation works and ensure quality standards are met. This role involves coordinating contractors, managing site inspections, and ensuring timely project completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a diploma in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in site management. Responsible to monitor renovation works on site and ensure that the expected quality is met within the given deadline for handovers. Additionally, the coordination of contractors & vendors to ensure that progress is smooth as scheduled.
Responsibilities:
Site Inspection
To coordinate new store site inspections, site marking and fit-out at new stores.
To perform site inspection and produce on-site sketch site measurement.
To perform site inspection reports and proposals.
To meet deadline of report submission without compromising quality.
New Store Setup
To coordinate with the contractor / supplier and other stakeholders.
Refurbish Store Setup
Responsible to arrange scrap and disposal works.
To coordinate with the contractor / supplier and other stakeholders.
Coordinate and Site Management
Responsible to oversee interior fit-out works such as monitoring of fit-out progress, capture defects and handover to Operation Department.
Coordinate and works closely with various internal departments to meet objectives and deadline.
Proposal drawing review with internal designer prior to site marking.
Resolve on site issues and discrepancies based on site conditions.
Track progress and manage contractors to ensure deadlines are met as given.
Liaise with suppliers on layout and specifications matters for fit-out fabrication .
Conduct regular site progress tracking to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Quality Assurance
To ensure that all the equipment delivered is correct and accurate as per the requirement.
Ensure store built up follow as Store Bill of Quantity and Specifications.
Produce and submit the Contractor defect snag lists during day 1 fit-out and ensure prompt rectification.
Others Ad-hoc Task
To perform any other duties and responsibilities as required by the management as and when required.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Architecture / Construction / Interior Design (ID) / Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in site renovation or site management.
Good project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Possess own transport and able to travel extensively.
Possess strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
Possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflict effectively.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and motivation.
