Job summary

REALTEK SEMICONDUCTOR (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.

is seeking a Site (Software) Reliability Engineer (SRE) to deepen understanding of automation components, promote scalability, and ensure system stability. You will deploy and fine-tune servers, build automated operation platforms, and maintain robust infrastructure, including disaster recovery and incident response plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Familiar with DevOps and SRE concepts.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages: C, C++, Java, Go.
• Strong Shell scripting: Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby.
• Extensive Linux experience (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Good English communication skills.

Site (Software) Reliability Engineer (SRE)

• Deep dive into development lines, learning and understanding the mechanism of every automation components, and promoting product scalability, stability, and performance.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc server-side deployments, performance fine-tuning and troubleshooting.
• Design and develop automated technical operation platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and incident response plans.

Job Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science or related field is better. Strong understanding with DevOps and SRE concepts is welcome.
• Familiar with at least two programming languages: C, C++, Java, Go.
• Good Shell script skill with at least one scripting language: Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby.
• Extensive and hands-on knowledge with Linux operating system (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• Ability to communicate, reading, and writing in English.
