Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia seeks a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on project sites. The role encompasses planning, executing safety procedures, and conducting training programs. Ideal candidates possess a Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

Must possess a Diploma or equivalent in relevant field.
At least 2 years of experience required.
Mandatory possession of Yellow Book.

Responsibilities

Assist Safety Manager on SHE matters for project sites.
Conduct safety inspections and audits.

Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety)

To assist Safety Manager / Safety Officer on safety, Health and Environment (SHE) matters relating to the implementation of work requirement of project sites.
Ensure Safety, Health and Environment system compliance with government regulation and requirements.
Perform site inspection and audit in ensuring all safety methods and regulations are being observed.
To ensure all work activities, procedures, processes, etc. are implemented according to OSH Act, Factories And Machinery Act and other local authorities on safety and health matters.
To ensure and maintain good safety plan for the safe working environment.
To develop accurate OSH report and to maintain relevant safety records.
Planning, co-ordinate and conduct SHE activities, training and program.
Able to responsive to local authorities' requirements.
Able to identify potential risks and recommend practical and cost effective solution in safety management.
To ensure workers' basic amenities and welfare has been properly attended.
To attend all project’s Safety and Health meetings.
To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

Requirement:

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Candidate is mandatory to possess Yellow book.
