Job Description for Safety Supervisor

To assist the Safety Manager / Safety Officer on safety, health, and environment (SHE) matters related to the implementation of work requirements at project sites.

Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment systems according to government regulations and requirements.

Perform site inspections and audits to ensure all safety methods and regulations are observed.

Ensure all work activities, procedures, and processes are implemented in accordance with the OSH Act, Factories and Machinery Act, and other local safety and health authorities.

Maintain a good safety plan for a safe working environment.

Develop accurate OSH reports and maintain relevant safety records.

Plan, coordinate, and conduct SHE activities, training, and programs.

Respond to local authorities' requirements effectively.

Identify potential risks and recommend practical, cost-effective safety solutions.

Ensure workers' basic amenities and welfare are properly attended to.

Attend all project safety and health meetings.

Perform any other duties as instructed by management.

Requirements:
  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of Yellow Book is mandatory.
