Job summary

Solarvest Energy is recruiting a Site Safety Supervisor to implement and monitor the site's SHE policies for ongoing solar and renewables projects in Central and Southern Malaysia.

The role requires a Yellow Book certificate registered with DOSH, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations. You will lead safety inspections, train workers, and ensure compliance with PPE and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must have DOSH Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant construction or renewable energy project experience.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the site's SHE policies in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts at the workplace.
• Liaise with the Safety Officer, Site Manager, and subcontractors on safety-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and records of incidents or near misses.
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and use proper PPE.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site.

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia).
• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is an added advantage).
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills.
• Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment.
