A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor on a contract basis for a duration of approximately 12 months. The role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental matters on site. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in HSE with Petronas, along with the necessary safety certifications. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining a safe working environment and implementing HSE practices effectively.

Job description

This is a contract basis for ± 12 months duration.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities within a particular construction workplace to ensure HSE matters is complied by Contractor.
• Ensures that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary.
• Monitor and oversee worker adherence to HSE on day-to-day basis.
• Takes note of workers safety concerns and immediately acts on them.
• Implement HSE on site as per required by PTW.
• Assume role of SHO in the absence of the incumbent.
