Job summary

A leading corrosion protection service provider is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor. This role involves ensuring safety compliance on-site, preparing reports, and mentoring team members on safety practices. Candidates should have a valid DOSH certification and a proactive attitude towards workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Registered as safety site supervisor with DOSH and have valid certificates (Yellow Book).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy industries safety management.

Ensure all site activities are performed safely, with monitoring on site.

Work in strict cooperation with the Project Manager to ensure project progress and status integration.

Prepare and submit Monthly SHE reports to management.

Make regular visits to the worksite to ensure safe working conditions and advise on remedial or corrective actions when necessary.

Inspect Permit to Work at the site, ensuring its validity and compliance.

Encourage reporting of any accidents or incidents by employees.

Maintain records of non-compliances (NCR), safety violations, or offences, and follow up on corrective actions.

Prepare accident/incident reports and participate in investigations.

Initiate SHE-related programs and activities with management support.

Create newsletters, bulletins, safety lessons, or alerts to educate employees and disseminate information.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety or related field.

Registered as safety site supervisor with DOSH and have valid certificates (Yellow Book).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy industries safety management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Good leadership qualities, proactive, mature, independent, focused, and result-oriented.

Good communication skills.
