Job summary
A construction company in Selangor is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to enforce safety compliance on-site. The role involves conducting safety briefings, inspecting hazards, and liaising with safety authorities. Candidates must be registered with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP and have at least two years of experience in safety and health within a construction environment. Excellent communication and supervisory skills are essential.
Qualifications
- A registered Site Safety Supervisor with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP with Yellow Book holder.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Safety & health aspects, preferably in high-rise construction.

Overview
- To enforce Occupational Safety & Health Act (Osha) 94 at all work site
- Conduct safety induction and safety briefing to site personnel
- To inspect worksite hazard and prepare risk assessment
- Responsible to ensure site safety compliance through site audit and issue NCR reports for compliance
- To carry out regular safety visit, audit and inspection
- Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized department (eg. Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB and etc.)to maintain Company’s progressive safety standards and requirement
- Work closely with the Project Manager pertaining to safety requirement
- Supervise observance of these legal requirements and promote safe conduct of work
- Advise management of changes in safety legislation and all matters pertaining to occupational safety, health and environmental
- Determine the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence
- Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and new safety literature; circulate information applicable to each level of employee
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Project Manager/Managing Director from time to time
Qualifications
- A registered Site Safety Supervisor with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP with Yellow Book holder
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Safety & health aspects preferably in high-rise construction environment
- Able to work independently and good communication and supervision.
