About the role

As a Site Safety Supervisor at Mirecont Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our construction site team in Sarikei, Sarawak. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols to mitigate risks and protect our employees on-site.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
• Providing safety training and guidance to site personnel to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining accurate records of safety activities, training, and compliance
• Collaborating with project managers and the health and safety team to develop and implement effective safety plans
• Ensuring the site adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar construction health and safety role
• Thorough understanding of construction health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse site personnel
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly address safety concerns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to promote a culture of safety
• Relevant certifications in construction safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH
