Needed at Gelugor, Penang
Full Time Position
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8.00 pm to 5.00 pm), Saturday (8.00 pm to 12.30 pm)

Job Descriptions:
– Supervising workers, subcontractors and work activities.
– Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
– Assessing and managing safety hazards.
– Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
– Carrying out regular inspections.
– Helping project managers to plan the work programme.
– Helping co-ordinate deliveries of materials, plant and equipment.
– Completing records for site reports.
– Attending site management meetings.
– Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
– Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
– Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
– Organising and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector.
– Providing emergency first aid if required.
– Maintaining an accurate attendance report of all construction site workers
– Reviewing daily construction work and suggesting any improvement measures
– Ensuring all emergency equipment are in place and in working order
– Ensuring project completion as per the set timeline
– Communicating the progress report to the Construction Project Manager
– Attending any on-site meetings or events

Requirements:
– Must possess at least a Diploma in relevant field of studies
– Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
– Candidate must have Yellow Book
– Working experience at least 1 year in related field
– Can work in Penang
– Have transportation
