Job summary

A global manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor and enforce safety practices at project sites. The ideal candidate must have a certificate in Engineering, a valid Yellow book license registered with DOSH, and at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. This role involves conducting site inspections, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction industry.
• Computer literate.

The Job

• Responsible for monitoring, implementing, and maintaining safety practices at project sites in compliance with DOSH regulations and company policies.
• Ensures a safe working environment by identifying hazards, enforcing safety standards, and promoting awareness among all site personnel.

Responsibility

• To attend meeting with clients with regards on safety and health matter
• Carry out day-to-day site safety inspection and supervise sites work to ensure that safety aspect is carried out in accordance with the HSE Plan.
• To ensure safety policies, safety manuals, rules and procedures are in place and enforced at any time to ensure that all operations are carried out safely.
• Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees and subcontract staff
• To monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices
• To ensure good housekeeping at work sites

Requirements:

• Possess at least certificates in Engineering field or equivalent
• Valid Yellow book licence and registered with DOSH
• 3 years’ experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction industry.
• Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English.
• Knowledge in legal, ESH requirements by law and clients
• Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently to site on short notice.
