Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards

Implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Providing safety training and toolbox talks to educate workers on safe work practices

Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to site safety

Collaborating with project managers and site personnel to promote a strong safety culture

Staying up-to-date with changes in health, safety and environmental legislation

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry

Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and DOSH requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with workers, subcontractors and management

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to identify and address safety concerns

Proficiency in using safety management software and tools

Certification in occupational safety and health, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, is highly desirable
