• Conduct safety induction for new construction workers and all new site staff.
• Conduct toolbox meetings on a weekly basis.
• Ensure the workplace is safe and complies with the OSHA Act 1994 and Act 139 FMA 1967.
• Ensure that employers comply with established safety and health regulations.
• Ensure employees wear personal protective equipment.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Act as a liaison between the main contractor and subcontractors.
• Assist the safety officer with incidents, accidents, and near misses at the site.
• Ensure all issues highlighted by the main contractor are addressed and rectified before the due date.
• Be a member of the safety committee with the main contractor.
