About the role
HYWAY GROUP (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team based in Bintulu, Sarawak. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction site personnel. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and monitoring site safety policies, procedures and practices to maintain a safe working environment
• Conducting regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and address potential hazards
• Providing safety training and guidance to site personnel to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
• Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to site safety
• Collaborating with the construction team to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution
• Complete the tasks assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a validYellow Bookissued by the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor, preferably in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and construction site practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards proactively.
• Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
