SITE SAFETY OFFICER – GREEN BOOK / YELLOW BOOK

Head office based in Kawasan Perindustrian Puncak, Ulu Tiram, Johor

Contract basis

Malaysian

Job Requirements*

  • Competent and registered with DOSH with Green Book and/or Yellow Book
  • Willing to travel
  • Candidate shall possess at least a Professional Certificate, DOSH Management or Environmental, Engineering (Industrial), or equivalent with certification endorsed by JKKP/DOSH.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Required skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, computer literate, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to interact well with all levels and committed to work.

Job Responsibilities*

  • Plan, guide, review, and coordinate implementation of OSH management system in compliance with regulatory, corporate, and standard requirements, including SIMPLE internal audit management review, workplace inspection, monitoring of corrective and preventive actions, and maintenance of certification.
  • Monitor and report on safety and health performance, including hazard and risk management, incident/accident investigation, dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases, safety audits, and inspections.
  • Facilitate and coordinate workplace safety and health committee meetings to organize and implement safety activities, fostering occupational safety and health awareness.
  • Organize, prepare, conduct, and participate in safety and health emergency response training programs.
  • KWSP, SOCSO contributions included.
  • Minimum 14 days annual leave per year, more for senior positions.
  • Medical coverage provided.
