About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site QAQC Engineer (MEP) to join our team at LONGMOTIVE (M) SDN.BHD. in Kempas, Johor. As a Site QAQC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our construction projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing company.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) plans for MEP systems
2. Conduct on-site inspections and testing to verify the quality and conformance of MEP installations
3. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues
4. Maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, testing records, and non-conformance reports
5. Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team to ensure adherence to design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
6. Participate in the review of shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documents to ensure compliance
7. Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of MEP systems

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on MEP systems
3. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including design, installation, and testing procedures
4. Proficient in interpreting and applying relevant codes, standards, and regulations
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
