Job Description

As a valued member of our team, your role is pivotal in assisting the Project Director / Assistant Project Manager in organizing, supervising, and executing all designated tasks to ensure the seamless operation of the department.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Supervision:

Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction or project site.

Ensure work is progressing according to schedule, specifications, and quality standards.

2. Team Coordination:

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and site staff.

Conduct regular meetings with team members and stakeholders.

3. Health & Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Conduct site inspections and ensure all workers follow safety procedures.

4. Resource Management:

Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used efficiently.

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed.

5. Budget & Cost Control:

Monitor project budgets and control expenses to avoid overruns.

Report any variances to project managers or senior leadership.

6. Quality Assurance:

Inspect work for compliance with building codes and project specifications.

Address defects or issues and ensure timely resolution.

7. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain site records including progress reports, incident logs, and inspection reports.

Report regularly to project managers or directors.

8. Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities as required.

Handle inquiries or concerns from neighbors or the public.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 5 years and above of experience as a Site Manager in construction or in a similar role.

Self-development and self-independence

Candidate must be skilled in site leveling techniques and able to perform ground leveling on construction sites using appropriate toolsandmethods

Certificate/Diploma/Degree in constructionfield

Immediate availability to start work

Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin & Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
