Job summary

Spektra Watertech is seeking a Site Supervisor in Shah Alam, Malaysia, to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety standards. The role requires reading drawings, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining QA/QC documentation.

You will monitor workmanship, pre-empt delays, and drive site progress with regular reporting to the Project Manager. A diploma or degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in construction or M&E projects.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of site supervision, QA/QC, and safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and quality of work; rectify issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site workers to meet schedule.
• Prepare method statements, work procedures, and RFIs as needed.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress records, and IRs.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, safety regulations, and permits.
