Job summary

RSM Builders Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a committed Site Engineer to coordinate, monitor, and ensure construction activities align with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The role involves collaboration with project teams, consultants, and contractors for smooth execution. You will coordinate site activities, assist in planning, prepare technical drawings and work programmes, and attend site meetings to provide technical support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of related site engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or similar PM software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor site activities to ensure works meet specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Assist in planning and coordination of project activities to meet timelines and objectives.
• Prepare and submit technical drawings, work programmes, and material samples for client or main contractor approval.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support when required.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly progress claims and project costing.
• Conduct preliminary site surveys and support site setting-out activities.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on implementation matters.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Maintain proper project documentation, including drawings and filing systems.
• Monitor site progress and workmanship for QA/QC compliance.
