Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Site Engineer (Civil Structure / Mechanical & Electrical)

• Assist daily supervision of contractors and subcontractors to ensure completion of works as per schedule, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure work carried out and materials delivered to site conform to drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.
• Read and verify all construction drawings, specifications, and method statements; report discrepancies.
• Conduct C&S / M&E inspections on site to ensure compliance with construction specifications, legislation, project timeline, and quality standards.
• Witness testing and commissioning of all M&E work.
• Maintain daily records of construction activities and report issues to superiors.
• Check and ensure quality and workmanship within acceptable tolerances.
• Participate in site evaluations of contractor’s work.
• Handle defect complaints from purchasers post-vacant possession, coordinate with contractors for rectification, and ensure proper handover.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Experience in mix development, high-rise residential, and commercial retail projects is preferred.
• Willing to work in Klang Valley.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry required.
