A leading construction firm in Malaysia is looking for a candidate to oversee project execution at site, including coordinating with subcontractors and providing technical support. Job description

Role and Responsibilities

1. In charge of project execution at site, includes progress monitoring, coordination with sub-contractors includes workers & machineries planning, quality control, and etc.
2. Provide technical support to the project team during the project’s implementation and delivery phase.
3. To assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager to implement the Project Execution Plan.
4. Ensure that technical designs and drawings are applied correctly and adhere to the project’s quality requirement.
5. To conduct regular site inspection on materials, installations and testing works. Responsible to report daily site activities planning and track daily site work progress against the project’s baseline program.
6. To coordinate site activities with client, sub-contractors, consultants and authorities.
7. To check any discrepancies in construction drawings against the actual site condition and report to the Project Manager/Construction Manager.
8. To constantly provide feedback & update the site progress to the Project Manager/Construction Manager.
9. Prepare progress report, detailing sub-contractor’s construction productivity and schedule performance, investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance.
10. To arrange/attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings, follow up on the outcomes regularly.
11. Take part in the testing and commissioning of the relevant machineries and equipment according to the Inspection & Testing Plan.
12. Coordinate and prepare the as-built drawings with the work contractors.
13. Any other ad-hoc projects or duties to be assigned by immediate superior/HOD.
