Job summary

KY Maju Development Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Construction Manager to direct on-site operations and supervise sub-contractors. You will coordinate with main/sub-contractors, consultants and the operation team to ensure timely project completion and strict quality control.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, materials, and budgets while ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards. Strong time management and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Able to coordinate on site and work under supervision and pressure.
• Good time management to meet targets.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Must possess own transport.
• Willing to travel outstation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise day-to-day operations of sub-contractors and workers.
• Ensure quality of work in accordance with specifications and drawings.
• Check, schedule, and monitor all plants and materials.
• Monitor site progress to ensure works meet schedule.
• Liaise with main/sub-contractors, consultants, and the operation team for timely completion.
• Monitor material usage and wastage on site.
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate labour resources and procurement of materials, plant and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to building legislation, standards of performance, quality, cost and safety.
• Establish and manage budgets, controlling expenditure and resource efficiency.
