An established industry player in construction seeks a diligent Site Administrator to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role involves maintaining logs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring quality assurance on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in a relevant field and demonstrate effective communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Maintaining daily logs for construction activities, including weather conditions, progress reports, and any incidents.
Recording material deliveries and quantities, ensuring proper inventory tracking.
Filing permits, contracts, and other legal documents related to the project.
Keeping track and recording worker attendance.
Site Administration
Coordinating and attending all site technical meetings.
Monitoring material deliveries to ensure quantities match delivery orders.
Verifying contractors' and subcontractors' work records, site instructions, and variation orders.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Monitoring site activities to ensure adherence to safety guidelines, regulations, and procedures.
Performing quality checks on materials and workmanship to identify potential defects.
Maintaining documentation related to inspections and non-compliance issues.
Maintaining good housekeeping and implementing safety practices.
Ensuring all works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures, and method statements.
Coordinating maintenance and defect rectification works.
Communication and Coordination
Liaising with contractors or subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and services.
Liaising with contractors, consultants, and relevant parties to identify and resolve issues for smooth project implementation.
Resolving administrative issues and coordinating with other departments to address concerns.
Assisting in the preparation of the building’s operation and maintenance manuals.
Participating in all final inspections and handover processes, resolving or attending to purchaser’s complaints and defects.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Administration, Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin (both oral and written) for interacting with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Able to work under pressure and adapt to working hours and shifts as required by management.
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork attitude.
Possession of own transportation and willingness to travel.
Valid commercial driving license (e.g., Class D, E, or equivalent).
At least one (1) year of relevant construction management experience.
