Job summary

mnosys sdn bhd in Penang is seeking an experienced Signal and Power Integrity engineer to design, simulate, and validate SI/PI for high-speed digital systems across boards and packages.

You will work with design and manufacturing teams, perform lab measurements, optimize designs, and drive DFM/DFT compliance while documenting guidelines and procedures. Strong background in transmission line theory and EMC, plus hands-on tool experience with ANSYS, Cadence, CST, are required.

Job description

Design, simulate, and validate signal and power delivery networks (PCBs, packages, interconnects) for high-speed digital systems. Collaborate cross-functionally from design through manufacturing, execute lab measurements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure DFM/DFT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Simulation: Simulate, analyze, and optimize signal and power integrity (SI/PI) for high-speed digital systems using tools like ANSYS, Cadence, or CST.
• Testing & Measurement: Perform lab measurements to quantify SI/PI performance, develop test plans/procedures, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet quality targets, SI/PI requirements, and DFM/DFT standards.
• Guidelines & Innovation: Establish SI/PI design guidelines, document procedures, qualify new materials with suppliers, and keep current with industry trends.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in signal and power integrity engineering (semiconductor or electronics industry preferred).
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of transmission line theory, EMC, and power delivery network design; proficient in lab measurements with hands-on simulation tool experience (ANSYS, Cadence, CST).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with excellent communication for cross-functional teamwork.
