Job summary

Rakanda in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a store associate to support daily store operations, manage stock replenishment, and deliver strong customer service on the sales floor.

You will handle stock receiving, forklift operation when required, and ensure shelf and product availability while maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This role requires good numerical and communication skills and a readiness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Min SPM or equivalent education
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to manage stock and inventory accurately
• Willingness to work in shifts including weekends/public holidays

Responsibilities

• Support daily store and sales floor operations for smooth workflow
• Manage stock receiving and forklift operations when required
• Pick and replenish stock from storage to sales floor ensuring product availability
• Maintain shelves, racks and top stock in well-stocked, tidy condition
• Keep accurate inventory and assist in stock control processes
• Organize incoming stock by department and location, including sales floor
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of store and selling area
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers on the sales floor

Job description

Responsible for supporting store operations, managing stock replenishment and inventory, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor while delivering good customer service.

In this role, you will:

• Support daily store and sales floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
• Manage stock receiving activities, including operating forklift or lift truck when required
• Pick and replenish stock form storage to the sales floor to ensure product availability
• Ensure shelves, racks, and top stock are consistently well-stocked and properly displayed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist in stock control processes
• Organize and arrange incoming stock according to the correct department and location, including sales floor
• Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the store and selling area
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product inquires on the sales floor

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• Min SPM
• Age between 20-35
• Physically fit with high stamina: able to lift heavy items, move quickly, and climb stairs when required
• Good numerical skills: able to perform basic calculations (addition and subtraction) for stock counting
• Strong communication skills when dealing with staff and customers
• Detail-oriented, especially in checking stock condition, damaged items, and customer orders
• Hardworking, proactive, and able to learn and adapt quickly
• Forklift driving skills or experience are an added advantage
• Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Compensation, Benefits and Perks

The salary is RM1,700 - RM1,900
