KK Group of Companies (Retail) operates KK SUPERMART in Jenjarom, Selangor. We are seeking a friendly Shop Assistant for a part-time role to deliver excellent customer service and keep the store organized and well stocked.

You will greet customers, assist with product inquiries, operate the POS system, stock shelves, and support promotions while maintaining high standards of presentation and a positive shopping environment.

Competenze

• Retail or customer service experience, ideally in a supermarket or similar retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

About the role

We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team at KK SUPERMART Jenjarom (2) (JJR2). This is a part-time position based in Jenjarom, Selangor. As a Shop Assistant, you will be the friendly face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring our store remains clean, well-organised and fully stocked. This role is essential to creating a welcoming shopping environment and driving customer satisfaction, making it a vital part of our retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers warmly and providing assistance with product enquiries and location information
• Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and processing customer transactions efficiently
• Stocking shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are neatly arranged and clearly priced
• Maintaining store cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shopping areas and stockroom
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting low inventory to management
• Assisting with promotional displays and merchandise presentations
• Handling customer complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary
• Supporting team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Following company policies and procedures at all times
