About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team at KK SUPER MART Rawang, Saujana (RSJ). This is a part-time position based in Rawang, Selangor, offering you the flexibility to balance work with other commitments. As a Shop Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our retail operations, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our store runs smoothly. This role is fundamental to creating a welcoming shopping environment and building strong customer relationships that keep our patrons returning.

What you\'ll be doing

Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, efficient service at all times

Assisting customers with product enquiries and helping them locate items throughout the store

Operating the till accurately and processing customer transactions securely and promptly

Maintaining store cleanliness and organisation, including stocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays

Checking stock levels and alerting management to items requiring replenishment

Handling customer complaints and concerns professionally, working towards satisfactory resolutions

Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive shopping experience

What we\'re looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, though enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers from diverse backgrounds

A strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work flexibly as required by part-time scheduling

Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate item boxes
