Job summary

KK SUPER MART Segambut is looking for a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to support daily store operations. You will handle receiving, checking, recording, and storing merchandise, and ensure shelves are well-organized, labeled, and displayed to store standards.

The role involves stock replenishment, customer service, and operating the POS system. Flexible hours including weekends may be required; SPM or equivalent is expected with 1–3 years of retail experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree holders are welcome.
• 1–3 years of retail or store operations experience preferred.
• Experience in supervising staff or leading a small team is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth running.

Support the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the store.

Handle receiving, checking, recording, storing, arranging, and returning of merchandise.

Conduct stock replenishment and assist with inventory-related activities.

Ensure products are correctly arranged, labelled, and displayed according to store standards.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping within the store and surrounding areas.

Operate POS systems, equipment, and machinery in a safe and proper manner.

Ensure all store assets, equipment, and merchandise are properly cared for.

Assist in opening and closing store activities when required.

Attend to customer needs and provide courteous assistance.

Report stock discrepancies, equipment issues, accidents, and other incidents to the relevant personnel.

Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree holders are welcome.

1–3 years of retail or store operations experience preferred.

Experience in supervising staff or leading a small team is an advantage.
