Job summary

KK Supermart in Malaysia is seeking a store supervisor to manage inventory, customer service, and daily operations. You will receive, inspect, and record goods, maintain store cleanliness, and operate POS systems with adherence to company procedures.

The role requires leadership through supervising staff, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Own transport is preferred to support store coverage and emergency reporting.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping withing the store premises.

To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.

To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.

To provide courteous and professional service to customers.

To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.

To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Possess own transportation.
