Macor Shipping Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of dry bulk shipping and now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Trading Junior Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional to kick-start their career in the exciting world of shipping and trading.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the coordination and management of shipping operations, including the planning and execution of cargo movements

Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of shipments

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipping activities

Support the trading team in market research, data analysis, and the development of business strategies

Participate in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the implementation of new technologies

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration

We prefer 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or trading environment, preferably in a junior or entry-level position

Fresh graduate 'Maritime University' can apply

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

Familiarity with shipping and logistics terminology, processes, and regulations

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
