A logistics company in Selangor is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to oversee shipping and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Logistics, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This role involves monitoring the flow of materials, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring optimal logistics practices.
Working closely with and assisting the Assistant & Deputy Manager of Shipping & Logistics. Responsible for harmonizing and monitoring Supply Chain Operations, and for the success or failure of Material Shipping & Delivery Schedule. Troubleshoot any concerns related to International Freight Transportation. Provide relevant data and analysis to the Operations Team throughout the Supply Chain. Work with existing Transportation Suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing. Monitor the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods to ensure a prompt process. Utilize Logistics IT Systems or Software to optimize procedures. Plan and track finish goods shipment according to requirements. Maintain accurate logistics for all transportation and goods. Monitor team progress and identify any matters that exist. Prepare appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management.
