About the role

We are seeking a Shipping Executive / Sales Executive to join our team at MTD Industries Sdn Bhd, located in Taman Desa Cemerlang Johor. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Import/Export & Customs division, where you will be responsible for managing the shipping processes and supporting our sales efforts.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating the shipping and logistics of our products, ensuring timely deliveries to our customers

Liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import and export processes

Assisting the sales team in preparing quotes, processing orders and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Staying up-to-date with relevant regulations, procedures and industry best practices

Identifying opportunities to improve our shipping and logistics operations

Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise

What we're looking for

3-5 years of experience in a similar shipping, logistics or sales role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs regulations and shipping best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with shipping/logistics software

Adaptable, problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail

To support & administrative for any LMW renewal and company license related with custom application and approval for import & export
