Job description

Permanent role

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate outbound shipments from PTP to Singapore and manage self-collection arrangements at PTP.
  • Oversee container inbound and outbound processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
  • Prepare and manage customs documentation, including:
  • Packing Lists
  • Bills of Lading (BL)
  • Delivery Orders and Invoices
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport providers for sea, air, land, and courier shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with FTZ regulations and customs requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service support, including shipment tracking, issue resolution, and communication with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to shipping and logistics activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and customer service processes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or customer service, preferably within an FTZ environment.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and freight coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Others:

  • Experience working at or with the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).
  • Familiarity with cross-border logistics between Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Knowledge of incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping regulations.
