The role involves prepacking, staging with the Precision program, order picking for consolidation, and boxing/billing while coordinating with UPS, DHL, and FedEx. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of shipping experience (or 6 months at Samtec) and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in shipping/receiving or 6 months at Samtec.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sits/stands for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepack: Verify, count and pack orders properly and prepare them for shipment.
• Staging: Scan prepacks on designated shelves using the Precision program.
• Picking: Collect orders via sessions in the Precision program for consolidation (multiple lines of same client in a single shipment).
• Boxing / Billing: Process orders World Direct and operate Carrier systems (UPS, DHL and FedEx).

Receive, pack and process production orders properly and prepare them for export by complying with the different specifications of each package and following the guidelines of the customers.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Prepack: Verify, count and pack orders properly and prepare them for shipment.
• Staging: Scanning of prepacks on designated shelves using the Precision program.
• Picking: Collection of the orders by means of sessions in the Precision program for the consolidation process (multiple lines of the same client in a single shipment).
• Boxing / Billing: Process orders World Direct being responsible for operating Carrier systems (UPS, DHL and FedEx)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions or 6 months at Samtec.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
