Overview
Role: Shipping Assistant (Deliver on Behalf)
Responsibilities
- Order Management: Prepare and issue invoices and credit notes accurately and timely.
- Customer Support: Manage inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate problems to relevant departments when necessary.
- Coordination with Internal Teams: Coordinate with Shipping Team / Sales Team on DOB incoming order.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Credit Control Team on payment status, outstanding balances and customer account issues.
- Support monthly and quarterly closing activities related to delivery and invoicing.
- Ensure maintaining, filling, and storing documents with easy tracking.
- Support management with order-related data for decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline order processing and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to relevant departments to enhance overall workflow and service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM with relevant background or experience in Logistics/Shipping.
- No experience needed to 1 year of working experience in shipping/logistics or equivalent will be added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Application especially MS Excel, knowledge in using SAP will be added advantage.
- A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
