Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Shift Technician (open to fresh graduates) to maintain production lines and ensure on-time schedules. You will supervise production operations, perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical/software issues, and install new equipment according to specifications.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, and a certificate with 2 years of semiconductor industry experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certificate with 2 yrs experience in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Replace or repair faulty components and wiring.
• Install and configure new equipment and systems according to specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare reports on equipment status and repair activities.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment and systems are functioning
• Implement quality control measures to prevent future issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams.
• Assist in training users on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist engineer for technical and troubleshooting machine on engineering product.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Education
