Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in Malaysia to lead a shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output. You will coach a team of ~30 operators with 2-3 Team Leads and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Sales to meet targets.

You will drive discipline, process improvements, and adherence to SOPs, while managing rotating shifts and upskilling the workforce for growth within the plant.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years' experience supervising a production shift in manufacturing
• Proven ability to lead teams of 20+ employees
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Confident in handling discipline and performance management
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all production activities during your shift
• Ensure targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
• Plan manpower allocation and oversee smooth shift handovers
• Coach and develop a team of ~30 operators with 2-3 Team Leads
• Uphold discipline, performance, and workplace standards
• Drive compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Sales teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process upgrades
