Job summary

Nestlé S.A. Malaysia is seeking a First Line Manager to safeguard Employee Safety, Product Quality and Asset Performance while delivering the shift production plan.

You will coach teams, enforce GMP, maintain hygiene, and lead continuous improvement through NCE principles, ensuring training and succession planning. This role sits within a global leader in food and beverage with a strong culture of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing shopfloor management.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deployment of people development plans and assess team competencies.
• Coach employees to meet job requirements using NCE approach.
• Maintain GMP-compliant and hygienic working areas and equipment.
• Enforce hygiene, protective clothing, and safety practices on shift.
• Lead continuous improvement culture and support operators and staff.
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to develop talent and succession plans.
• Ensure adequate distribution of skills to meet the production plan.
• Coordinate timely launch of new products with business unit.
