Job summary

Nestlé Batu Tiga plant in Shah Alam seeks a First Line Manager to drive safety, product quality and asset performance while delivering the shift production plan. You will lead a team in a fast-paced FMCG environment, ensuring SOPs, GMP compliance and staff development.

The role requires a relevant degree and 2-3 years' manufacturing experience. Nestlé offers a dynamic, inclusive environment with global exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production or FMCG industries.

Responsibilities

Ensure the timely deployment of people development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team per the agreed plan with PM; enforce SOPs across the shift.
Coach employees to fulfill and exceed job requirements using NCE approach.
Maintain clean working areas and ensure installations comply with GMP.
Check and enforce personnel hygiene and safety (uniforms, shoe changes, hand washing).
Support continuous improvement and employee involvement through the NCE approach; drive for excellence with operators and staff.
Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and teams to develop them to their full potential and meet NCE objectives.
Ensure succession planning and development - coaching of direct reports including training development.
Ensure adequate distribution of skills to meet the production plan.
Ensure timely launch of new products to the market per business unit; coordinate maintenance with quality, engineering & administration.
