Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Shift M&E Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain mechanical and building systems in a 24/7 environment at our Bayan Lepas site, Malaysia. The role emphasizes hands-on work with HVAC, OFA/CDA, PVAC, and PCW systems alongside LV Chargeman colleagues.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience in mechanical/building systems at industrial or manufacturing sites, with a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HVAC, OFA/CDA, PVAC, and PCW systems.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills for shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor HVAC systems to maintain environmental conditions.
• Operate and maintain OFA/CDA, PVAC, and PCW systems for reliable operations.
• Monitor pumps, fans, chillers, ducting, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and support corrective actions.
• Repair and maintain pumps, fans, chillers, vacuum pumps, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Shift LV Chargeman and other technicians.
• Respond to system alerts and abnormal conditions during shifts.
• Support emergency response activities to restore operations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to engineers or supervisors.
• Assist in first-level root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain shift logs, inspection records, and maintenance reports.
• Report faults and maintenance activities promptly.
• Follow EHS policies and participate in drills and audits.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times.
